Form CPAS/OCMW Online

Public Centres for Social Welfare (called CPAS in French and OCMW in Dutch) help people in need, whether you are self-employed, an employee, a homeowner, a student, a retired person or if you have a disability.

Using CPAS Online – OCMW Online, you can now submit your first application for assistance online. This will be an official assistance application, which will be processed by the CPAS/OCMW. To request information, contact the CPAS/OCMW in your municipality.

Please note that CPAS Online - OCMW Online is intended only for people submitting an assistance application for the first time. If you already have an application pending with a CPAS/OCMW, or if you already receive assistance from a CPAP/OCMW, contact that centre.

The CPAS/OCMW are here for you. You can now submit a first assistance application with a few clicks via CPAS Online – OCMW Online, but you can also still do so directly at a CPAS/OCMW, or by phone, post or e-mail. Applying for assistance is completely free and confidential.

You will then immediately receive an e-mail acknowledging receipt of your application and information on the next stage of the procedure. A social worker will contact you and help you find the appropriate assistance.

What assistance does the CPAS/OCMW provide?

Help with housing

Rental guarantee, emergency housing, reference address for homeless people, help with care home stays, etc.

Help with energy

Social gas/electricity tariff, assistance with energy costs, energy-saving measures and advice, payment plan, etc.

Food aid

Food packages, meal deliveries, etc.

Medical assistance

Doctors' fees, purchase of medicines, hospital bills, etc.

Psychological support

Advice, payment of part of consultation fees, etc.

Financial aid

One-off or regular financial support, topping up of income or an allowance, etc.

Help with over-indebtedness

Debt mediation, individual support, budget management, etc.

Support for families

Contribution towards childrens' school fees, tackling child poverty via help with childcare, school equipment, etc.

Other

Purchase of glasses, tackling the digital divide (computer, Internet, etc.), social and cultural activities, hygiene products and menstrual protection products, etc.
